8:30 am Seed Swap and Organic Seed Potato Sale. If you would like to participate in the seed swap, please bring your seeds in a small envelope and clearly labeled. Drop them off at the table and pick up something new to try in your garden. And stop by the used book sale table.

Foodmagenddon:  Lessons Learned From Growing All Our Own Food During a Global Crisis. As COVID-19 began, we challenged ourselves to feed ourselves for a year from what we could grow or gather from our neighborhood. Our goal was to discover the strengths and weaknesses in our local food web. Learn from our mistakes and successes when thinking about your own food garden.

10:15 Ben Adams, Raised Beds:  Get some hands-on experience with assembling usable, long lasting raised beds for your garden.  Discover how extras such as cattle panel arches act as harvest aides, some ways to extend your season, and other tips on getting the most from raised beds.

11:30 Amanda Langer, Rain Gardens:  Rain gardens provide many benefits to humans and nature, from reducing stormwater runoff and increasing water infiltration, to providing habitat and food sources for beneficial insects. Here you will learn the basics of designing and installing a rain garden in your yard, from calculating size to picking out which species work best for your unique location

Informational tables include; native plants/invasive species, monarch butterflies, Citizens Climate Lobby, Low Tech Institute, Oconomowoc Watershed Program, and an electric vehicle display.

Cost is $10.00 at the door, lunch included to be served at 12:30.
