Nickel Night to Celebrate Community

Pop Up Event

Thursday, August 5, 2021

Celebrate Johnson Creek with this family-friendly pop up event to benefit the Johnson Creek Historical Society and Friends of the Johnson Creek Library. Enjoy vintage games, face painting, celebrate top summer readers, and hot dogs and popcorn are a nickel (while supplies last and there will be a per person limit on goodies to help spread the good cheer).

Plus check out fire trucks, police cars, decorative trucks, hear stories, have your face painted, celebrate the top summer readers with the Johnson Creek Library, and run the bases at the ballpark at Firemans Park with Bernie Brewer and the Brewers Racing Sausages from 4-5pm!

The event will also showcase the Johnson Creek Public Library‘s summer reading program top readers. So be sure to check out that presentation, along with a fire truck and police squad from the Johnsoncreekfireemsdepartment & Johnson Creek Police Department, Jefferson County SWAT and K-9 Units, decorative trucks, vintage games from the Friends of the Johnson Creek Public Library, and face painting from the Johnson Creek Historical Society.
There will be limited parking at the Community Center on the grass parking lot (to the right of the Community Center) to allow a clear path for safety vehicles to leave in case of any emergencies, but know parking is allowed on Union Street.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Village Tourism Facebook Page!
